MARKETS IN MEXICO CITY AND AROUND
One of the most interesting things to visit in a country like Mexico is its markets, old ones, ancient ones, popular and ethnic ones. They often called "tianguis", places with a fixed place and schedule where can be find lot of interesting things that speak about the local culture. There are thousands, they were present and actually, created in the prehispanic period and from then they take their features. It is impossible to speak or even to mention all of them, even the most known, but i will be tray to be putting in this space as many as possible as a reference or guidance for the new visitor.
San Felipe de Jesus, situated in the area of the same name, in the north-east of Mexico city with subway stations no so far ( Impulsora and Martin Carrera). It is implemented sundays from early morning to more or less 5pm. All sort of things, stolen, old, food, clothing, machinery, shoes, music, etc, etc. Some people claim it is the biggest in Latin America, maybe yes.
