VENTANILLA,NATURAL RESERVE IN THE COAST OF OAXACA

Ventanilla is a natural reserve in the coast of Oaxaca, near Pochutla, and neighbour of Mazunte. Some few kilometres north-west of Zipolite and Puerto Angel. It is a cooperative kept zone where they preserve the natural environment where crocodiles,turtles,birds and other animals are protected and can be watched by visitors which are guided by locals in small non-motor boats. In this place in certain seasons is possible to see how baby turtles are released to the sea after being hatched in safe nest. The prices for visiting are really cheap, some 2 dollars and is a place interesting for making photography or simple to watch nature. Usually people who visit the zone can sleep in Mazunte, a small village of fishers with economic places to sleep and eat..
