WALMART AND THE PRICE DIFFERENCE

Walmart chain has a shameful reputation around the world, claims and demands of varied nature, in short, the only thing that makes many consider a necessary reference in their purchases is that the chain branches are almost everywhere. In Mexico the company has many other brands that belong to the competition and play with them, but ultimately the money goes to the same group. But what I want to say here is something a bit odd and slightly sinister. It appears as well as personal observations of many acquaintances with whom I discussed the fact that prices of products in different stores within the city vary significantly. The funny thing is that the shops south of the city, such as close to CU and Miguel Angel de Quevedo, lower priced products in the same area in the north, such as Edward Molina. Why?, It is strange for being adjudged the south of Mexico City in general as an area with more economic resources than the north, then, why the lowest prices? .. well, it seems that the factor most relevacia, unless someone clarify what the store, which did not happen obviously, is presumably the reaction of the people. In the south, especially in some areas, people of middle or upper middle class tends to protest the price increases, usually compare what they are buying more but have more economic resources in general, while in the middle-middle class areas and lower middle, it seems that people feel sad, ashamed, or simply do not have the habit of claiming, so that prices can increase without much trouble, how true will this deduction?, for now seems to be the most viable to explain this price difference.

So if you are a consumer, such as wine and imported cheeses and has the ability to choose the store, check for yourself, but at least I've found consistent difference in price, ie, cheaper in the south, at least in terms of Walmart.

On the other hand, Walmart chain in Mexico, has other stores as we mentioned above, one of them is Aurrera, that was some time in Mexico, now is the economic line of American companies, for this reason are less expensive items, less expensive brands, but most often are the same items but at a lower price. They are not glamorous shops, warehouses and are rather a bit dirty in general, but if you want to save some bucks is a possibility.
